Betsy has joined the Brackenjack Show team headed by Teresa Walker. Teresa has been showing cockers for a number of years and prior to the cockers showed Irish Setters. Teresa has 2 beautiful Charbonnel black cockers and has campaigned them successfully. I was therefore delighted when she approached me for a blue roan.
Betsy is delightfully pretty and has a super outlook on life. She loves showing but equally loves her time out in the local park or sharing crisps in the local pub. She has had some good placings at open shows and championship shows but I am sure her best is yet to come. The photos above are of her “intelligent side,” below show her “other side. Enjoy them. |
Emma and her Mum Brenda, have had a revival in showing, but this time with Cocker Spaniels. They bought their first boy Mack in 2012, who has proven to take after his mum, Beryl, naughty and mischievous. Conformation wise he is a lovely dog, masculine head and great body, his brain just doesn’t seem to work at the moment in coordination with his body but Emma is doing great with him.
Dexter has joined Mack and is the complete opposite, calm and dignified but merry. He is a lovely blue roan and tan and will hit the show ring at 6 months old in December.
Dexter was going to stay here and my son had named him, but when Emma chose him I hadn’t the heart to say no.
In the show ring Mack has done Emma proud being regularly placed and won a rosette at The Cocker Club Show.
I will post some more photos shortly.
