History
I met my first English Cocker Spaniels at the age of ten when my best friend at the time had three, a red cocker spaniel called Rusty, a black & white cocker called Kelly and a blue roan cocker called Heidi. From this moment on I plagued my parents to buy me one but due to our busy family life this never happened. I always said I would have a Cocker Spaniel when I grew up. 25 years later I purchased my first Blue Roan male, Lochranza Quizzical, AKA Norbert.
It was worth the wait. Norbert was bought as a pet, we took him to obedience training where it was suggested that we ought to show him. At the end of April 2003 we entered our first show, we became hooked. We then applied for an affix. Having 2 boys Liam James and Mark Alexander we looked at ways to use their names and came up with 3, MARLIA, LIAMAR and JAYZANDER from James and Alexander. The Kennel Club chose Jayzander and Jayzander English Cocker Spaniels was born.
