It’s nearly 5 weeks since Tim’s diagnosis and admission and he has completed his 1st of 4 treatments of chemotherapy. The side effects have subsided now and he is waiting for his blood counts to come back up to a healthy range. Once his neutrophil count hits 1 he might be allowed home for a few days before they start round 2 of chemo and knock them all down again. Today his neutrophils were 0.81 so nearly there. We are all missing him so much and will be pleased to hear him chuntering around the house. Courtesy of my good friends some dogs have attended dog shows being professionally handled by various folk. Scottish Kennel Club champ show, judged by Gary Nicholas-Steele saw the arrival of Beryl and Eddie. Beryl was shown by Ann Nugent of Nulea cockers and got a very good 2nd in her class. Eddie was tackled by Kate and won his class. The next outing was Southern Counties where Mark Boswell of Marquell kennels took and handled Eddie. Eddie was much steadier than normal, obviously dare not play Mark up and won his class. I am thrilled and owe alot to the above guys for stepping into my shoes. Thank you. Hope you like the pic of my new bald hubby and i will update this page again with the next news. Comments are closed.
